1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Tailor Chapters website and the sale of personalized memory videos created from the photos and music you provide (digital content), together with any related services. The service is currently offered to customers in the United States and Canada. Placing an order implies your full and unreserved acceptance of these terms.
2. Use of the site
The site is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Any abusive, fraudulent, or diverted use is strictly prohibited, in particular: automated extraction of data or content; the use of bots, scripts, or similar processes; any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site systems; and any action intended to disrupt the service. We reserve the right to suspend or block access to the site, without notice, in the event of a breach of these terms.
3. Orders
Orders are placed online via the site. An order is final once payment has been confirmed, all information needed to create your video has been provided, and you have accepted these terms. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that is incomplete, non-compliant, or that infringes the rights of third parties, public order, or the values of the service.
4. Creation and delivery times
Your video is generated automatically and is typically ready within minutes. Times are indicative and may vary depending on the complexity of the request or the volume of orders.
5. Price and payment
Prices are shown at checkout in the applicable currency, inclusive of tax where applicable. Payment is required in full at the time of the order. No delivery is made without confirmation of payment. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, without retroactive effect on orders already confirmed.
6. Withdrawal and our satisfaction guarantee
Your video is personalized digital content that we create and deliver right away. Because you ask us to start immediately, it is not covered by the statutory right of withdrawal once we have begun (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
We still want you to be happy: if you are not satisfied, contact us at support@tailorchapters.com within 14 days of delivery. We will first try to fix it with a free re-generation, and if you are still not satisfied, we refund you in full. This applies once per customer and not in cases of abuse. Your mandatory statutory rights, including the legal guarantee of conformity (section 7), are not affected.
7. Legal guarantee of conformity
As a French company, we are bound by the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (Articles L224-25-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). If your video does not conform to what was agreed, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity and, where applicable, to an appropriate price reduction or refund, in accordance with the law. This legal guarantee applies independently of, and in addition to, the commercial satisfaction guarantee in section 6.
8. Delivery
The video is delivered electronically (link or download) to the email address provided at the time of the order. We cannot be held responsible for a delay or non-receipt resulting from an incorrect address or information provided by you, a technical malfunction, or any cause beyond our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual property
The delivered video is intended for your strictly personal, non-commercial use, including private sharing with family and friends. You keep all rights in the content you provide (your photos and your music), and we grant you a personal-use license to the delivered video. Any commercial use, public broadcast, reproduction, modification, or resale is prohibited without our prior written consent.
10. Content and music rights — your responsibility
By uploading photos, music, text, or any other content, you represent and warrant that:
• you own or hold all necessary rights and licenses to that content, including the music;
• you have obtained the consent of any identifiable person appearing in your photos, and, for any minor, the consent of a parent or legal guardian;
• your content does not infringe any third-party right (including copyright, image, publicity, or privacy rights) or any applicable law.
You grant Tailor Studio a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, and adapt your content solely to create and deliver your video and to provide support and re-generations. You agree to indemnify and hold Tailor Studio harmless against any claim arising from your content or from a breach of these warranties.
Because you supply your own music, you are responsible for holding the rights to use it in your personal video; we do not clear music rights on your behalf. We have no obligation to monitor uploaded content, but we may refuse or remove any content we believe to be unlawful or infringing, and cancel the related order.
11. Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — in particular for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for any of your mandatory statutory rights. Subject to the foregoing, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses.

Your personal data is processed as described in our Privacy and Cookies Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. The terms that apply are those in force at the date of your order.
14. Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@tailorchapters.com so we can try to resolve it amicably.
